The purpose of processing personal data
The purpose of this data filing system is to improve our services to our customers, support our marketing and facilitate communications. We use personal data only for managing our customer and partner relationships and for other customer activities, such as communications. If a user discloses information to us, we will only use it for the above-stated purposes.

Regular sources of information
Personal data is collected during the customer relationship and during the work performed in order to create a potential customer relationship. Data may also be collected from the Finnish Population Information System and other third-party filing systems. Additionally, data may be collected in connection with trade shows and other marketing events.
Cookies:
A cookie is a small text file which an internet browser places on the user’s device. Cookies are used, for example, for storing the user’s data when they move from one page of an internet service to another. Cookies may also contain personal data about the user, such as contact information.
Co-Engineering Oy does not use cookies on its website, except via Google Analytics. If a user wants, they can submit a request on our website asking us to contact them. When requesting us to contact them, the user gives their consent for Co-Engineering to add their name, email address and company name to our customer data filing system.

We use Google Analytics as our web analytics tool and it uses cookies to analyse our website. Cookies are used to collect information about the website users’ browsing habits, such as what pages the user visits and how long they spend on the website. Leadfeeder is a tool connected to Google Analytics that uses their own website’s cookies. Newsletter/Mailchimp:
Co-Engineering Oy uses Mailchimp only for sending newsletters and it is not connected to Co-Engineering's website. Only the data of those customers who will be sent a newsletter and who have given their consent for the sending of the newsletter will be added to Mailchimp. Data in the customer data filing system of Co-Engineering Oy is never transferred outside the EU or EEA.

Protecting the filing system
Co-Engineering has a digital customer data filing system whose use is protected through user identification, passwords and access rights. Processors of customer data are always subject to the obligation of professional secrecy.
Right of access and correcting inaccuracies
The customers and partners of Co-Engineering Oy have the right to check the data concerning themselves and to demand that inaccuracies are corrected. They also have the right to forbid the use of their data for marketing and advertising purposes and to protect any other rights they hold in accordance with the Personal Data Act and the GDPR.
